Egypt and Jordan Tour

Ancient Civilizations of the Middle East

Our Egypt and Jordan tour starts with arrival in Cairo, Egypt. Enjoy a full day tour including: Valley of Memphis, the Step Pyramid of Zoser and the Giza Pyramids.

We take a short flight to Aswan. After a day touring Aswan, embark on a three day cruise on the Nile.

The cruise disembarks in Luxor and we have 2 glorious days here before flying back to Cairo to complete our visit there.

One huge highlight is a visit to the brand new National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, opened April 18, 2021. The 22 Royal Mummies were moved from the Egyptian Museum on April 3, 2021. They include Ramses II, one of the most famous pharaohs, and Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s only woman pharaoh.

Fly from Cairo to Amman to begin the Jordan tour. Start with a full day visit of Amman and surrounding regions. Tour the fabled city of Petra, the magnificent desert moonscapes of Wadi Rum, and the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea Basin, where you’ll enjoy floating in the healing waters.

Petra is one of the great archaeological treasures in the world and without a doubt, the most important attraction of Jordan. Interact with the locals at Nubian and Bedouin villages and enjoy the historic sites.
